Action Trauma Network: Sinéad Hegarty Consultancy is proud to be a member of the leading network for individuals and organisations to heal trauma together. This reflects my own commitment to continuing professional development and dedication to best practice in this area.
Association of Child Protection Professionals (AOCPP): Membership reflects my dedication to professional standards within child protection, recognising the importance of being part of a network in which I can learn, but also inform events held, the development of the Association and contribute to responses to government and policy makers.
Associate of the Irish Child and Family Institute: it is an honour to be an Associate of Kieran McGrath who established the Irish Child and Family Institute with the goal of providing independent child welfare and social work services to a variety of statutory and non-statutory organisations, in relation to Child Protection and Safeguarding, particularly in the area of sexual abuse, including the provision of independent court reports and training.
External Trainer with CSA Centre of Expertise: I am delighted to be working with the CSA Centre of Expertise. It is an organisation whose resources I have used throughout my work, have signposted other professionals to, and our aims and values are very much aligned: reducing the impact of child sexual abuse through improved prevention and better response.
IASW: I am a member of the Irish Association of Social Workers, the national professional body for Social Workers in the Republic of Ireland.
Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC) and Coru: Registration with these bodies confirms my ability to practice in both Jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
National Association of Guardianship and Legal Representatives for the Vulnerable (NAGALRO) and Irish Association of Social Workers (IASW): My membership of these organizations further emphasise my commitment to upholding best practices and standards within the social work and guardianship sectors.
