Exciting times ahead

I am delighted, and honoured to have become an External Trainer with the CSA Centre of Expertise. I have used their resources in my work, and signposted others to their website. Becoming a trainer with them enables me to continue to promote outcomes for children by training Practitioners working with children who have experienced abuse, and their families. Increasing understanding of this area of practice is so important to me, as it means children will be helped and supported earlier, professionals will be able to recognise the signs and symptoms of abuse, meaning that children may be protected sooner, and are given help at an earlier stage, enabling them to work through their trauma, and reducing the long-term impact of child sexual abuse.
